Workfast is currently seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator to join a busy concrete plant in the Canberra region. This is a great opportunity for a reliable operator with solid experience in a concrete, quarry, or heavy industry environment.
What's on offer:
* $42 per hour + penalties + super
* Monday to Friday
* Nominal hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm (earlier starts may be required)
* Ongoing work
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate front end loader safely and efficiently across site
* Load trucks and manage raw materials within the concrete plant
* Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor directions
* Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any faults or issues
* Assist with general plant duties as required
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Essential Requirements:
* Front End Loader ticket (mandatory)
* HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence (highly regarded)
* White Card
* Previous experience operating loaders in a concrete plant, quarry, or similar environment
* Strong awareness of site safety and procedures
* Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
