We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our South Yarra workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a respected global brand, working within a supportive team and a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics on Volvo vehicles.
* Utilise Volvo-approved diagnostic software and equipment to identify and resolve faults.
* Complete road tests, inspections, and system evaluations to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and the workshop controller regarding repair status.
* Maintain accurate repair documentation and adhere to Volvo and dealership standards.
* Uphold workplace safety procedures and contribute positively to the workshop environment.
About You
* Qualified Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle) with a current trade certificate.
* Previous Volvo or European brand experience is highly regarded but not essential—full training provided.
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
* Valid Australian driver's licence (manual preferred).
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
* A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering premium customer service.
