About the opportunity:
This role delivers high-quality, timely communication and services to colleagues, members, and external stakeholders including financial planners, legal and medical professionals.
It involves assistance with administering insurance applications and claims with confidentiality and care, ensuring accurate information and adherence to service standards.
The successful candidate will manage member records across multiple databases, coordinate documentation and correspondence, and support daily operations such as data entry and mail distribution.
The Insurance and Claims Administration Officer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in projects that enhance systems and services to better meet member needs.
About you
You are a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, effectively prioritising multiple tasks to meet deadlines, and proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in data processing, with experience using multiple systems simultaneously.

* Sound interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills across verbal, written, and face-to-face interactions
* Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm, positive and objective manner.
* Ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy and maintain complete confidentiality.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks and to prioritise those tasks to meet deadlines.
* Competency in keyboard skills and the ability to perform data processing responsibilities
* Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and in using multiple software programs/databases at once.

Remuneration
ASO2 – $58,709 min - $63,154 max per annum, plus superannuation
