Payroll Specialist Role
This temporary position supports the organization with end-to-end payroll processing, reporting, and compliance during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee weekly payroll operations
* Respond to payroll inquiries in a timely manner
* Prepare payroll reports for internal and external purposes
* Assist with audits, compliance, and FBT processes
* Prepare payroll tax returns and ensure superannuation compliance
* Complete payroll-related reconciliations
* Collaborate with management accountants on payroll budgets and forecasts
* Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements
* Interpret and apply modern awards, particularly in the agricultural industry
