This 6-month fixed-term contract offers the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate, based on business needs and performance.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of the Group. Working closely with other senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will provide financial clarity, strong governance, and commercial insight to support decision-making in a fast-growing environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to a Finance Manager who enjoys partnering with the business, strengthening controls, and supporting strategic initiatives during periods of growth and change.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements and management reports for the Group
Prepare and deliver the monthly Board Pack for Board meetings
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across all company entities, including variance analysis and insights
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against budget
Responsible for the Group's statutory obligations (including Income Tax, FBT, BAS and Payroll Tax), with responsibility for preparation, reporting and lodgement.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support commercial and strategic decisions
Support senior management with financial planning and strategic initiatives
Approve payments and manage banking operations
Manage and mentor finance team members, as applicable
About You
Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role
CA/CPA Certified
Strong technical accounting, reporting, and compliance expertise
Confident working with CEOs, Boards, and senior stakeholders
Commercially astute, proactive, and detail-oriented
ERP experience, preferably in MYOB
Experience in high-growth, multi-entity, or export-driven environments will be highly regarded
