About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist / Speech Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting clients across a diverse caseload, helping them improve their communication, speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and work closely with families, carers, and allied health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
* Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with client goals
* Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
* Support and educate families and caregivers on communication strategies
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with compliance standards
* Utilise AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools and technologies
* Stay current with speech pathology research and best practice guidelines
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
* Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
* Minimum 3–5 years' clinical experience in speech pathology
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working in NDIS, disability, or community health settings (highly regarded)
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Commitment to patient-centred and outcome-focused care
