We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical department in various roles. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care.
The Registered Nurse (Surgical) will be responsible for delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care. This includes supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care. The role also involves delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs.
Key responsibilities include leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes. The Registered Nurse (Surgical) will work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs, acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
To be successful in this role, you will require minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical environment. A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent is essential, along with current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA. Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality is desirable.
