Outreach and Engagement Specialist
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to raise awareness about youth mental health and help-seeking behaviours within their community.
Event Management and Coordination
* Plan and coordinate events such as Youth Week, Mental Health Month, and other activities, promoting services to schools, community groups, and agencies.
Education and Training Delivery
* Design and facilitate mental health literacy education sessions and community training workshops for various target audiences, including young people, schools, and local businesses.
Partnership Development and Maintenance
* Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including schools, health agencies, and local government organisations, ensuring effective service promotion and referral pathways.
Youth Participation and Support
* Recruit and support young people in participating in a reference group, ensuring their input is included in service development and delivery.
Collaboration and Networking
* Work alongside the team and partners to build strong networks, fostering collaboration across the youth sector.
Community Representation
* Represent the service at community events, networking meetings, and functions, requiring flexibility with weekend or evening availability.
