A outstanding opportunity currently exists for a Data Manager to develop the strategic direction and business plan for the whole of organisations data management. As the Data Manager, you will lead the utilisation and governance of data across Wine Australia and ensure that data is culturally embraced as an asset.
**Desired skills and qualifications**
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in data related roles
- The ability to think strategically and develop a strategic plan for company-wide data management.
- Experience in governance, developing data procedures and policies to manage data sovereignty.
- Experience in delivering new and improved data management practices.
- Knowledge in up-to-date data security
- Experience in the development of business cases for projects and operational improvements
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a commitment to working in cross functional teams.
- The ability to sustain focus on conflicting priorities and deliver at pace with consistent quality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in solutions that support data management, though not essential, would be viewed favourably.
