About the Role
The University of Wollongong is seeking an agile, innovative and service-driven Project & Operations Coordinator to support the strategic and operational success of our Shared Services Division (SSD).
In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and deliver projects that enhance operational efficiency, elevate service delivery, and strengthen knowledge and case management across the division. Working closely with the Director, Shared Services, you will contribute to a seamless "single front door" experience for the UOW community and help ensure consistently high-quality service across all SSD functions.
A key focus of the role is supporting digital transformation within SSD—developing tools, improving reporting, refining processes, and embedding new ways of working that enable scalable, customer-centred service. You will also play an active role in first-line risk management and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
About You

* Experience in project coordination, operations, service improvement, or similar roles.
* Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver collaborative outcomes.
* A mindset focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
* The ability to navigate complex organisational environments and manage competing priorities.
* Experience with digital tools, process optimisation, or business transformation.
