The Role
As an Optometrist Assistant, you will work closely with experienced professionals in the field of optometry. You will assist patients with frame and lens selection, interpret optical prescriptions, and provide excellent customer service.
* Patient Care Management: Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses, while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
* Communication Skills: Provide clear and concise information to patients, and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
* Teamwork: Work collaboratively with optometrists, dispensers, and other staff members to achieve common goals.
About You
We are seeking an Optometrist Assistant who is passionate about eye care, fashion, and working with people in a busy environment. Ideally, you will be a second or third-year Optometry student with some optical experience.
* Relevant Experience: Previous experience in the optical industry, preferably as a student assistant.
* Social Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment, and a positive attitude.
* Education: Currently enrolled in an Optometry program, with a focus on clinical practice and patient care.
