The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Director to lead a key retail portfolio. This is a senior role with real ownership. You will lead strategic thinking and governance with the client, own commercial outcomes, and still stay close to the work to keep quality and pace high. If you enjoy being in the detail while also leading the bigger picture, this will suit you.
What you will be doing
• Owning a key retail portfolio and acting as the senior day to day partner to the client
• Leading strategic conversations and turning them into clear briefs, priorities, rollout plans, and channel requirements
• Setting the account rhythm including governance, WIP cadence, escalation pathways and senior stakeholder management
• Taking accountability for commercial outcomes including forecasting, margin, reporting, and continuous improvement
• Staying hands on across priority jobs and critical deadlines, stepping in to unblock issues and keep delivery on track
• Overseeing integrated delivery across strategy, creative, content, print production, in store POS, retail activations, and warehousing and fulfilment
• Working closely with internal studio, production, logistics and technology teams to drive consistency, speed to market and quality
• Identifying growth opportunities and value add that genuinely helps the client
• Leading, mentoring and uplifting the account team
What we are looking for
• Senior leadership experience in marketing services, retail production, print management, or an agency environment that delivers real work in market
• Strong strategic and commercial capability, with confidence advising senior marketing and procurement stakeholders
• Deep understanding of retail and shopper marketing delivery, including in store POS, campaign rollouts, and production workflows
• Confident running governance and service management, and calm in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable being close to the detail and problem solving in real time, not just delegating
• Experience with warehousing and fulfilment programs, portals and stock management is highly regarded
• Clear communicator who is structured, proactive, solutions led, and relationship focused
