With 90% of our students identified as English as a Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) learners, and 21 students supported through our dedicated Support Unit, the school is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
The school prioritises evidence informed, explicit teaching and learning strategies, with a strong emphasis on developing foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.
We are in the second year of implementing restorative practices aimed at promoting positive student behaviour and enhancing engagement.

Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach EAL/D (primary) or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in EAL/D qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Strong organisational and collaborative skills to work with teachers to assess, plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on literacy and English programs for EAL/D and New Arrival students.
Expertise in using the EAL/D Progressions and embedding strategies into daily practice while building staff capacity to improve EAL/D learners' English proficiency.
Demonstrated ability to use effective student management and wellbeing practices, including restorative approaches, to create an inclusive, engaging environment with high expectations for all students.
Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
