Our Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) team is at the forefront of technology and innovation to help our clients imagine their business, solve the most complex business and technology problems, and help them accelerate their transformation journey. We are currently hiring Senior Solutions Consultant (Manager) levels within our Public Sector practice in Canberra for the following areas of expertise:
Core Skills:
Business Architecture including capability definition, business process mapping and optimisation
Requirements gathering, analysis and solution architecture
Technology Strategy solution design through design thinking and modelling
Desired Skills or Experiences:
Application Architecture, Portfolio Management and Rationalisation with experience in any application technology platforms
Technical / cloud Infrastructure Architecture with experience architecting infrastructure projects
Understanding of Emerging Technologies to develop innovative solutions
What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant within our technology practice, you will provide exceptional client experiences leading teams in applying our methodologies to deliver our core services. As a leader and role model, expect to:
Build strong trusted client relationships through daily interaction with senior clients to deliver exceptional client experiences
Analyse and understand our client’s business problems to advise and apply innovative and practical solutions
Foster and promote an environment of diversity and inclusion
Manage your teams day to day including their professional development and mentoring junior staff
Consult with Deloitte leadership and broader Deloitte network to advise and deliver value to our clients
Build out your area of expertise through development of market eminence and internal coaching, participating and contributing to Deloitte EA Community of Practice
About the Team
Our dynamic Canberra TS&T team sits as part of a connected national and APAC team. It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology strategy enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable growth; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex business and technology problems; and how to execute technology-led transformations. By joining our team, you gain access to a network of local and global experts to answer our client’s problems and to grow as a professional.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You are someone with 8-10 years' experience in a client facing / advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment, of which you have been involved in an architecture related role for a minimum of 3 years. In this role you will have had accountability and responsibility for shaping, leading and delivering added value through technology advisory and consulting experience. We are looking for applicants to have some experience in the following areas:
Provide strategic advice and assess technologies and assist in the prioritisation of future investment, communicate it to senior stakeholders
Driving consistent architectural engagement across the program / project lifecycle
Advice or implement effective architecture governance frameworks to apply technology efficiently and effectively within the organisation, mitigating technology related risks
Provide architectural expertise / guidance in the resolution of issues in transformation program context
Develop models of Business Capabilities, Value Chains, Stakeholders / Customers, Products / Services / Experiences and Processes
Translating needs into roadmaps and architecture blueprints (business, applications, data, technology)
Assessing current state and developing target state enterprise architecture by analysing and understanding our client’s business problems
Defining scope, analysing requirements and planning implementations aligned with business objectives to enable the business outcomes
Developing business solutions and collaborate with technology teams and architects identifying technology solutions
Working with Federal and State Government clients and understanding the nuances of delivery of their transformation programs such as funding cycle, business case and investment priorities
