The role
At Kids' Uni, we believe children thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported. We're looking for an inspiring Circle of Security (CoS) Practice Lead to champion emotional wellbeing, strengthen secure relationships, and grow educator confidence across our services. In this newly created role, you'll guide the implementation and integration of the Circle of Security model across our services. This role is on a permanent part time basis, working 16 hours per week (days and times flexible).
You'll work alongside educators, leaders, and families to embed CoS principles into everyday practice — from interactions to curriculum planning and reflective practice. You'll be a trusted mentor, coach, and advocate, helping teams use the CoS map to support children's needs for a secure base and a safe haven, and strengthening the powerful connection between attachment and learning. You'll work alongside a collegial and experienced leadership team who share your vision for exceptional early education practices based on a foundation of relational pedagogy.

You'll have
* Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
* Completed Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Facilitator Training and becoming a registered COSP facilitator.
* Completed Circle of Security Classroom Approach Facilitator Training.
* Extensive experience working with children aged 0–6 in early education settings.
* Experience mentoring and leading teams.
* Certificate in accredited course 'CHCPRT025' – Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk
* Working with Children Check
* Working knowledge of all legislation relating to the provision of Early Education and Care.
* Deep understanding of attachment theory, emotional development, and trauma-informed practice.
* Ability to work flexible hours to meet business demands, attend meetings and training outside of operational hours
* Ability to travel locally between our sites – have a driver's license and access to a car
* Experience in adult education or supporting relational or trauma-informed model implementation is highly regarded.
