POSITION PURPOSE
CMP Oilseeds Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated oil crush mill in Yenda, NSW.
Our business is expanding and we are looking for committed and highly motivated people to join our team as a Logistics Assistant.
The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for effectively controlling, monitoring and recording the activity of heavy vehicles and contractors attending site. The role will weigh all heavy vehicles that attend site, correctly identify vehicle combinations, check the vehicles compliance and effectively direct and control the traffic flow onsite. The role will need to adhere to CMP Booking schedules and ensure all incoming and outgoing paperwork is completed with attention to detail. The role will involve dealing with incoming and outgoing communications, organisation of information, and data entry. The Logistics Assistant also plays a vital role in our quality and compliance requirements and will be responsible for sampling and quality checks of all incoming grain. The role will also assist in ensuring the weighbridge is running safely and efficiently and will do all tasks involved in keeping records as organised and up to date as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Duties and Responsibilities of Logistics Assistant include but are not limited to;
· Liaising with contractors attending site via UHF
· Directing all heavy vehicles on site
· Checking truck cleanliness and documentation
· Collecting and processing seed samples for quality assurance, ensuring accurate data is collected, recorded and stored according to compliance requirements
· Completing manual dockets and entering data into CMP Program
· Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, especially our sample stand to avoid quality errors
· Maintaining files and records following workplace filing systems
· Must be able to take directions from your supervisor, and other Managers
· to be able to work under limited supervision, either individually or in a team environment
· to understand and be able to implement the CMP Oilseeds policies, procedures and standards
· to be able to multi-task and assist with other roles when required, as the company may be limited during peak times
As Logistics Assistant, you are fully responsible for:

· Logistics, Receivals & Despatch, & related Clerical Duties
· Promoting a positive, professional and assertive attitude towards all tasks
· Maintaining confidentiality of information to protect CMP Oilseeds interests
