The Company Highly regarded Manufacturing/Distribution business based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne who are a worldwide leader in their field. The company is undergoing a very exciting growth phase due to the completion of several recent acquisitions and expanding distribution channels. The role Strong knowledge and previous experience in using a large Payroll system is essential, for example this could be Micropay, Neller Preceda, HR3, or Chris 21. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be a pivotal point in supporting the greater Payroll team, being responsible for processing monthly/fortnightly payroll and assisting with improving payroll processes and procedures. The key duties of the role will involve the following; Payroll processing (fortnightly and monthly for approx. 500 people) Rostering Payroll Auditing Payroll reporting Payroll planning Payroll reconciliations Journal entries/Payroll accruals Update systems/procedures Supervision of Payroll Officers New hire onboarding Terminations/annual leave calculations and reconciliations Overtime calculations EBA Award and interpretation Succession plan with HR to ensure there is necessary payroll coverage Skills & experience The successful candidate will be customer service focussed and have proven experience in a similar end to end Payroll position for a large company. Experience with payroll reporting, payroll planning and sound knowledge of EBA’s/Awards is preferred. You will be able strong analytically and manage multiple reports simultaneously.
