We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Professional to join our team at Mr Good Guy. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting senior chefs with menu preparation, maintaining excellent presentation standards, and ensuring cost control.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Assist senior chefs with menu preparation, ensuring adequate supplies are available for expected service
* Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
* Be a leader of the team by setting a positive example
* Supervision of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef or allocated Chefs
* Delegate duties and responsibilities to kitchen employees to ensure service demands are met
* Assist with minimising food waste

Requirements:
">
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferable within a hotel industry
* Trade qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent
* Leadership experience within a professional kitchen environment
* Demonstrated experience with dietary requirements and creating menus to suit those needs
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP management, and compliance with local health and safety regulations
* Food Safety Supervisor certificate viewed as advantageous
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Creative culinary mind, up to date on local and international food trends
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Full legal work rights to work in Australia must be held to be considered for this role
