Job description:

* Salary Range $113,574 - $125,720pa (plus superannuation and leave loading) (Clerk Grade 7/8)
* Temporary Full Time up to 14/08/2026 (possibility of extension)
* Meaningful impact and contribution within the Domestic Violence Unit, based at Head Office - Central Sydney
* Anticipated interview time: End of January 2026.

About the role

Provide case management to victims of domestic and family violence with complex social and legal needs including referral assistance, comprehensive risk assessments, safety planning, support in attending Court as well as other services. Provide clinical expertise to address the socio-legal needs of victims of domestic and family violence.

About you

You have experience supporting victims of family violence and understand the complex barriers they face, including safety, housing, and mental health challenges. Your trauma-informed, client-centred approach ensures dignity and empowerment, and you are skilled at navigating health, housing, and legal systems to achieve positive outcomes.

You work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and have ideally partnered with Solicitors and Service Providers to manage cases involving court processes and multiple systems. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you are committed to reducing systemic barriers and improving outcomes for vulnerable clients through advocacy and integrated practice.

The essential requirements for this role

You must have:

* 5 years minimum relevant experience
* Four- year Bachelor Degree in: Social Work, Psychology or directly relevant other degree OR Bachelor plus Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or directly relevant other degree
* Professional registration
* Working With Children Check
* Capacity to travel regularly, travel may be required across Sydney metro

The Family Law Division have several roles where it is a statutory obligation for staff to hold a valid Working with Children Check. You will be required to provide your Working with Children Check details prior to commencement in any role requiring the check.
