We're seeking a confident, solutions-driven HR Generalist to own all HR functions, working closely with our HR Coordinator.
About the Role
This role involves managing difficult conversations, grievances, and ensuring a fair, legally compliant, and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing expert advice on employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
* Leading grievance resolution, workplace investigations, and performance management
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, contracts, and processes
* Managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
* Partnering with leadership to foster an engaged, high-performing culture
* Overseeing payroll processes
* Collaborating with the WHS committee to ensure safety and compliance
Qualifications & Skills:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field (mandatory)
* Proven experience in a senior HR role with solid knowledge of Australian employment law
* Confidence in managing conflicts and difficult conversations
* Ability to build trust and influence at all levels
* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Willingness to work across both locations: Truganina & South Melbourne
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
