Job Description
Blue moon offshore solutions Role Summary We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. The role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Australian building regulations.
Key Duties Analyse architectural drawings, engineering plans, and technical specifications to inform detailed construction planning and execution. Manage workforce deployment including recruitment, scheduling, and allocation of labour across project stages. Oversee procurement, delivery, and management of materials, equipment, and plant required for construction activities.
Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors and on-site trade workers to ensure seamless integration of construction activities and timely resolution of technical challenges. Monitor project progress to ensure construction projects are completed within agreed timelines, allocated budgets and quality benchmarks. Maintain consistent communication with clients, developers, subcontractors, and stakeholders on project milestones and deliverables.
Prepare, assess, and administer tenders, quotations, and contract documentation for suppliers and subcontractors. Develop and oversee coordinated work schedules to ensure efficient site operations. Ensure full compliance with building codes, legislative requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
Submit project plans to local councils and relevant authorities to obtain statutory approvals. Supervise subcontractors and ensure their work meets quality, schedule, and performance expectations. Provide overall leadership and mentorship to project team members, relevant stakeholders and on-site teams to maintain performance, quality and productivity.
Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate inspections, approvals, and compliance requirements. Promote and enforce occupational health and safety regulations.
