Community Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team in making a real difference within the community.
About the Role
The Community Support Specialist role involves working with vulnerable individuals in the local prison community, providing support and guidance both prior to and post-release.
* Conduct visits with clients while they are incarcerated to provide emotional support and guidance on rehabilitation strategies.
* Facilitate group sessions in a prison environment, promoting positive relationships and life skills development among inmates.
In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for conducting home visits in Kalgoorlie area as part of your role. This requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
