This role is part of a function that oversees activities across the bank to manage financial crime risk, protecting the bank, customers, and communities from this type of threat.
As a manager in this area, you will deliver leading governance and policy services to the Group, supporting the Senior Manager FCR Governance in delivering international and domestic best practices and standards.
Key responsibilities include providing clear insights and management information reporting services for board and executive committees, as well as managing the group's relationship with regulatory bodies such as AUSTRAC.
The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, regulators, and committees, presenting opportunities for growth, development, and understanding of risk appetite, regulatory rigor, and organisational best practices.
Requirements
* Proven knowledge of financial crime risk-related regulatory requirements
* Experience in developing and managing financial crime risk frameworks, including policy development and risk assessments
* Excellent written communication skills, ideally with policy documentation and report writing
* Regulatory relationship skills are highly valued
* Demonstrated experience in financial crime governance and/or advisory services at a financial institution
* Strong technical expertise in financial crime policy
* Ability to deliver financial crime management information and reporting for committees
