About the Opportunity
The role is focused on driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding their presence in the QLD region.
Working closely with the Sales Manager and broader team, you will play a key role in growing their footprint while ensuring their customers receive the high level of support and service they are known for.
Day to day:
* Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities to grow revenue in Queensland.
* Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
* Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company goals and market needs.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
* Actively monitor reasons for customer decisions, including any lost opportunities, and relay insights back to the business for continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for an experienced BDM, ideally with a track record in the mining, machinery or industrial sectors. The ideal person will thrive off developing new relationships, chasing down leads and creating opportunities.
* A proactive self-starter who enjoys building relationships and finding new opportunities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
* A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for problem-solving and meeting customer needs.
* Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a supportive team.
* Open to regular travel, including to the Bowen Basin and surrounding areas 2-3 times per week and further afield approximately once a month.
