About the Opportunity
We are seeking the industry’s best Sommeliers to join our team on a casual basis and deliver a best-in-class wine experience. This is a hands-on role focused on exceptional service, suited to those with an unwavering passion and appreciation for wine. You will have the opportunity to work alongside – and be mentored by – some of the industry’s most respected professionals, including Loic Avril and Yuki Hirose.
Responsibilities
- Experience as Sommelier / Wine Waitstaff in a fine dining and/or high volume restaurant
- Basic knowledge in local, national and international wine
- Passion for wine and the industry
- Exceptional service skills
- Excellent communication and organisation
- Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day to day operations
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work in a high pressure environment
- Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol
- WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous
- Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Must have full Australian work rights
Qualifications
