Job Description:
The Senior Case Management Specialist is a critical role within the Youth Justice Service, primarily responsible for coordinating statutory supervision and services for young people subject to court orders. This position requires exceptional case management skills, particularly in effectively delivering rehabilitative interventions for individuals with complex needs at high risk of offending.
Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day statutory supervision, supporting clients through holistic support, implementing client service plans, liaising with agencies, preparing reports and maintaining registers, and developing strategies to address offending behavior.
About You:
This role requires an understanding of the youth justice system, Children, Youth and Families Act 2005, and associated policies. Advanced knowledge and skills in case management are essential, as well as perseverance and effective coping mechanisms in challenging situations. A full driver's licence and current Working with Children Check are mandatory.
