About the Role
Lead our workshop and depot facilities to meet high safety and quality standards.
We are seeking a agile Workshop Asset & Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our workshop and depot facilities. This hands‐on role involves managing a small team, coordinating resources, and ensuring maintenance activities meet high‐quality standards. Your leadership will support our Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ) and Asset Management Systems (AMS) commitments.
Duties
* Coordinate and deliver maintenance for bus and depot assets.
* Manage resources for optimal bus and asset performance.
* Conduct unscheduled repairs and attend breakdowns.
* Adhere to safety standards and manage stock levels.
* Address concerns and improve bus and depot asset planning.
* Liaise with Managing Director on compliance issues.
About You
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
* Minimum 'MR' class licence and passenger transport authorisation.
* 5+ years experience in diesel mechanics with Translink QLD fleet vehicles / or similar.
* Possess a forklift licence or ability to attain one.
* Desirable: Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or related qualifications.
* High commitment to customer service and ethical practice.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong problem‐solving and communication abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a quick‐paced workplace with a 'Can Do' attitude.
