POSITION
We have a full-time position for a Store Manager available in Machans Beach, QLD 4878
SKILLS
The role requires you to have at least a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Diploma or above and at least 12 months of relevant employment experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Store Manager, you oversee the daily operations of a store providing groceries, fuel, and post office services. You are responsible for all store operations and are expected to manage the business autonomously, without requiring direction from ownership. Your responsibilities include staffing, maintaining stock, coordinating deliveries, merchandising, postal services and monitoring fuel operations while upholding safety standards
You are committed to delivering high-quality customer service and fostering a welcoming environment. You communicate effectively with ownership to report performance and drive continuous improvement, ensuring overall operational efficiency across all service areas.
TASKS
The position will require you to perform the following tasks.
* Analyse sales performance and local demand to determine product mix, stock levels, pricing, and service standards across grocery, fuel, and post office services.
* Formulate and implement purchasing strategies, including promotions and advertising of goods and service
* Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused service across all are
* Actively support sales by assisting customers, providing product advice, and promoting relevant offer
* Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and readiness, including peak trading period
* Manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, shrinkage control, and accurate stocktake
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements, cash handling, banking, and financial transaction
* Prepare and manage accounts, monitor costs, and report on business performance.
* Liaise with suppliers, fuel providers, and postal services to ensure continuity of operation
* Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff to ensure capability and service quality.
* Ensure full compliance with company procedures, postal requirements, and WHS
* regulations, including safety checks and incident reportin

SALARY
The salary offered will be $75,000 to $ 85,000 per annum, negotiated based on your experience.
