ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a passionateTeacher of HPE &Science or HPE & Mathematicsto join our secondary school program.
As a full-time teacher, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver a vibrant curriculum to your students and possess a strong knowledge of content and pedagogy in these areas.You will use teaching strategies that cater to the needs of a diverse student group and differentiate the curriculum to adapt to students' needs.

As the classroom Teacher you will be responsible for the delivery of a holistic education, including;

* Effective management of students in the classroom and wider school community;

Desired Skills and Experience
ABOUT YOU
You will have qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:
* Experience teaching HPE & Science or HPE & Mathematics in middle years classes (Years 7–10), as well as Senior Physics and/or Chemistry and/or Mathematics.
* Qualified Teacher, registered with, or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
* Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
* Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum: Science and/or Australian Curriculum: Mathematics.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
* Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for students.
* Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people;
* Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and the Anglican ethos of the School.
