We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team at Warragul Country Club as a full-time Bistro Manager.

Founded in 1907, the Warragul Country Club has been at the heart of our local community for more than a century and is one of Regional Victoria's leading community Sporting Clubs. We have a rich golfing history and enjoy a unique brand as a premier golf, hospitality, and entertainment venue offering sporting and social facilities to members and residents of Warragul and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on our customer service and expect a lot from our team to ensure we deliver a unique and memorable experience for our customers.
About the role
In this role you'll be responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the bistro operations, 7 days per week, as well as leading and building the capability of your team to ensure exceptional service and a memorable experience for all members and customers.
You will:
· Implement and manage processes and systems related to the bistro services.
· Manage the bistro operations, including staff recruitment and training of systems that deliver exceptional service standards.
· Oversee and coordinate bistro promotions and support the member loyalty programs key promotional activities.
· Lead and inspire a team, setting high standards for service and performance to create a high-performance work culture.
· Ensure compliance with all safety standards, licensing, and regulations.
About you
You will have hospitality experience ideally in a high-volume Hotel or Club bar and be an energetic and motivating leader to develop and support a team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
You will have:
· Exceptional customer service qualities to effectively lead a team, service flow, and guest experience.
· An understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices.
· The ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
· A calm, confident presence with a proactive and energetic approach to your work.
· An ability to establish and foster professional relationships with employees and customers.
· Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handlers certificate.
· Certificate IV or above in Hospitality Studies qualifications.
