Logistics & Packing Assistant – Steel Processing
Full-time | Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday
APS Adelaide Profile Services is Australia's leading steel processing business. Partnering with Bluescope Steel, we supply Australian-made steel across Defence, Government Infrastructure, Mining & Resources, and Renewable Energy sectors.
We are seeking a motivated Logistics & Packing Assistant to join our team. This role involves grinding, cleaning and packaging steel, as well as general logistics, forklift operation, and loading/unloading duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Pack and palletize finished steel products
* Assist with day-to-day logistics coordination and QA checks
* Load and unload trucks
* Liaise with drivers, production staff, and management
* Perform general administrative duties related to logistics
* Adhere to WH&S and safety requirements
Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of logistics operations and warehouse processes
* Reliable work history with strong focus on safety
* Excellent communication skills
* Intermediate knowledge of logistics systems and paperwork
* Physically fit, driven, and passionate
* Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious
