Attractive salary based on skills & experienceWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Branch Supervisor to join our team based at our Mount Isa facility. The Branch Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership throughout the branch, and to supervise and manage workshop staff in meeting the needs of Drivetrain, our customers, and our suppliers.This role will report to the Branch Manager and collaborates closely with the Mount Isa team.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership to the workshop to meet/exceed the needs of both Drivetrain and its customers.Manage the day-to-day Work In Progress (WIP) activity from end to end and in accordance with agreed KPI’s.Identify cost saving reductions without jeopardising quality for all workshop practices, subcontract repairs and consumables purchases.Achieve Sales and Gross Profit budgets for the workshop.Manage and action Production Orders that relate to the workshop, SPK kits and Service Exchange units.Complete Technical Service Reports in accordance with Drivetrain expectations.Prepare quotations in accordance with Drivetrain expectations.Review, inspect, approve, and take ownership of the quality of all work and services performed by the workshop.Ensure a safe and efficient workshop is maintained for the team – target Zero Harm.Identify and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.About YouEssential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Duty Plant preferred).Minimum 3 years’ experience as Workshop Supervisor/Manager.Thorough knowledge of Drivetrain product types and industry segments.Strong interpersonal, written communication and oral communication skills.Ability to form effective working relationships with employees throughout Drivetrain.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated experience in training, coaching and management of people.Sound time management skills.Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – predominantly Word and Excel.Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP.Strong experience in cost and labour estimating, and preparation of quotations.Strong experience in writing technical reports.About UsDrivetrain Australia, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited, supplies world-class equipment, powertrain components, servicing and onsite support to some of the world’s most demanding sectors.With over 35 years of experience, Drivetrain is a leading supplier of technical products, services and engineering solutions for the mining, energy, transport, rail and defence industries.
