Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Regional Director to lead our team in the Asia Pacific region.
About the Role:
* Lead and motivate third-party distributors in the assigned region to achieve strategic objectives and drive business growth.
* Collaborate with distributor brand and management teams to drive performance evaluation and growth.
* Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly APAC distributors, to influence brand strategy alignment and deliver excellence in execution against ambitious growth targets.
* Motivate distributors through activation platforms developed for international markets.
* Ensure distributors in the assigned region meet sales and marketing targets.
* Co-lead with the international marketing team the development of activation toolkits for the whole region, incorporating insights from other regions and producing actionable plug-and-play activation toolkits.
* Provide accurate and concise information regarding volume, pricing, product mix, competitive activity, and market trends during budget processes.
* Understand how suggested action plans relate to overall profitability.
* Identify new growth opportunities and conduct regular field visits.
* Closure of corporate projects assigned by top management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in sales or business development; experience in the spirits industry is a plus.
* Thorough knowledge of global branding and selling strategies.
* Academic qualification in Business/Marketing.
* In-depth understanding of the industry, region, and brands is essential.
* The ideal candidate should have:
o Proven work track record in sales and/or marketing gained preferably in a beverage/wines and spirits company;
o Strong understanding of the regional spirits industry and brands.
o Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
o Excellent presentation skills and experience dealing with middle and upper-level management.
o Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
o Enthusiasm and ambition for career advancement.
o Self-motivated and able to work individually or as part of a team.
o Able to work in fast-paced results-oriented environments.
