NSW Resources are seeking a Senior Project Officer Business Improvement and Governance to join their Information Management team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating complex projects aimed at improving business processes strengthening financial oversight and enhancing governance frameworks.
Working closely with the Information Management team to support the delivery of ICT systems and drive continuous improvement your key responsibilities will include :
* Leading the development and implementation of project management financial monitoring and governance frameworks.
* Providing expert financial analysis and maintaining visibility of team budgets.
* Managing end-to-end project delivery ensuring outcomes are achieved on time within scope and budget.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external vendors.
* Monitoring project performance risks and benefits to ensure continuous improvement.
* Championing business efficiency and transparency in a dynamic systems-oriented environment.
About You
Youre a strategic thinker and skilled project manager with :
* Demonstrated experience in planning coordinating and delivering complex projects in dynamic environments.
* Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to analyse issues and develop practical solutions.
* An understanding of ICT systems and leveraging technology for efficiency
* Advanced understanding of financial concepts and monitoring.
* Composure under pressure and flexibility in changing environments.
