Initially supporting the Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) in the execution of the upgrade of the Midland train station, this ongoing, full-time position will play a key role in overseeing the planning and scheduling functions for the wider MCD business in WA and potentially beyond. As a planner, you will be responsible for: Managing the planning and controls functions for the project Establishing and maintaining accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements. Updating schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect current status of progress. Amending schedules to reflect changes to the project scope. The efficient and effective project implementation of project management software for the project to provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting. Developing and maintaining s-curve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required by the Project Manager. Competent in planning and organising work schedules. Knowledge of project planning systems, in particular Primavera Software P6. Knowledge of risk management systems. Ability to read technical drawings. Broad knowledge of infrastructure, marine, mechanical, rail and building construction.
