This position plays a critical role in supporting the effective operation of rural fire services. As a Brigade Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to local brigades, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver high-quality services.
Main Duties
1. Emergency Response: Respond to rural fires and other emergencies, providing operational support, mentoring, and leadership as needed.
2. Operational Planning: Assist in developing and implementing operational plans to ensure the effectiveness of bushfire response and mitigation efforts.
3. Fleet Management: Support the maintenance and management of fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are available and ready for use.
