Description
The Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) for the Police Co-Responder Team collaborates with Cleveland Division of Police officers to provide trauma-informed mental health care. The CIS responds to community police calls involving potential mental health crises and conducts follow-up outreach to connect individuals with appropriate community services.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Conduct mental health screenings and crisis assessments
* Provide information about community resources
* Advocate for individuals by contacting community providers
Schedule:
* Various days and shifts
This is a non-exempt, union position with a pay rate of $36.06 per hour.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of professionally supervised experience in mental health, chemical dependency, or social services
* LSW, LISW, PC, or PCC certification required
* Valid Ohio driver's license with a good driving record and proof of insurance
