About the Role:
Resilience Community Care is seeking an experienced and reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting a participant in the Maroochydore area. This role involves 10-hour shifts with sleepover components, providing consistent, structured, and person-centred support within the home and community.
About the Participant:
The participant requires a calm, confident, and consistent support approach. Preference has been expressed for a mature female support worker who can build rapport, maintain routine, and deliver supports in line with established care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, person-centred support in the home and community
* Follow structured support plans, including mealtime and daily living routines
* Support community access and meaningful engagement
* Maintain clear, accurate shift notes and documentation (ShiftCare)
* Work collaboratively with families, coordinators, and allied health professionals
* Promote independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability or complex support environments
* Confident working with structured supports and behaviour-informed approaches
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Ability to remain calm, consistent, and professional in all situations
* Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR
Desirable:
* Experience supporting participants with complex needs
* Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks
* Manual handling and personal care experience
