FinXL is seeking a skilled QA Tester with a strong background in both Performance and Functional testing to join a high-profile project. This role is specifically centered around Mainframe environments, requiring a candidate who is comfortable navigating legacy systems while ensuring modern performance standards.
Key Requirements
* Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen.
* Security Clearance: Minimum of a Baseline Clearance is mandatory (NV1 preferred).
* Technical Expertise: Proven experience in testing within Mainframe environments (z/OS, CICS, DB2, etc.).
Core Responsibilities
* Performance Testing: Plan, script, and execute performance tests to identify system bottlenecks and ensure stability under load.
* Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end functional validation to ensure system requirements meet business needs.
* Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate technical risks and test results to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong experience with testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, or Micro Focus SilkPerformer).
* Hands-on experience with Mainframe utilities and protocols.
* Ability to work in an Agile or Hybrid delivery model.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
