Expressions of Interest – Personal Care Attendant

We have an opportunity for a passionate and committed Personal Care Attendant at (enter community) in (enter location).
Opportunity
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home.
You will promote their independence, build social connection, assist with day-to-day tasks, and ensure their wellbeing.

$*****/hr including 25% casual loading + relevant Award entitlements (penalty rates, overtime, allowances) + superannuation

Opportunity to work across a number of our communities
Morning, afternoon and night-time shifts available
Responsibilities
Work independently within resident villas or units to provide in-home care including personal hygiene, house cleaning, laundry and more
Interact with residents in their homes or spend time in the community completing daily activities (e.g., driving them to appointments)
Provide care tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their care plans
Support residents with recreational and social activities
Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
What you will bring
Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for community care, independent living and wellbeing
Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
Current Police Check clearance (required; we can complete it for you)
