We are an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area. Our health services and clinics including Coronary Care and Cardiology, Surgery, Intensive Care, General Medicine, Research and 24/7 Emergency Care.
Selection Criteria
A Primary Medical Degree registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or other specialist recognition as provided for the NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Staff Specialist Agreement or the Health Insurance Act 1973. Experience and qualification(s) in General Surgery and Emergency General Surgery. High level communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated capability to negotiate and implement change. Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner as a member of a multidisciplinary team and unsupervised in periods of high demand and activity. Ability to teach from undergraduate to postgraduate level with commitment to own personal and professional development.
