We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker with full and flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.
**Job Description:** The role involves delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities, assisting clients in their daily living activities, promoting community integration, and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans, encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals. You will also advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent, with 6 months of experience in a similar field. You will also require a high level of fitness for manual handling, and be able to work nights and weekends. A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC) and current CPR and First Aid certificate are also essential. Additionally, you will need to hold a full driver's licence and have valid work rights. You will be passionate about human rights and creating positive change, empathetic and compassionate, with excellent communication skills.
