Description The opportunity The Estimator will support the estimating function through the effective management of Downer's estimating and validation of WIP and cost to complete validation on our Water projects for the Energy & Utilities business unit. The successful applicant can envision themselves attending to duties such as: What you'll do Prepare Electrical, Communications, Security work to be estimated based on the requirements of the tender submission and/or simultaneous development of a complex range of small and large TOCs and project budget estimates across the Program works program Identify, develop, review and maintain current costs for labour, materials, rates and time requirements for tender submission and/or for the Project of approved Norms and update database accordingly Maintain an approved estimating package and database Review bids against actual project performance to refine future proposals. Develop and review subcontractor RFT packages.
