Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our pre-opening team for Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in creating and building the HR function for our hotels. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide support to the Director of Human Resources and management team with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Daily Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes for hotel colleagues.
* Support learning & development initiatives, including onboarding sessions and maintaining training records.
* Respond to general colleague enquiries.
* Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, contracts, and communications.
* Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:
* Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for workload and key deliverables.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communications skills to build professional rapport with department managers, leaders and colleagues.
* Tertiary studies in Human Resources, Training or Business Administration preferred.
* Previous HR experience within the Hotel Industry or within Tourism and Hospitality is desired.
* Minimum of one (1) years' experience in a Human Resources generalist capacity.
* Tech savvy and able to learn new systems easily.
