This position forms part of Tutt Bryant Heavy Lift & Shift, the organisation’s Heavy Lifting & Specialised Transport division. Operating 80 axles of drawbar & gooseneck platforms, 100 ton & 50 ton floats, semis & road trains, and specialised lifting systems for load 1000 ton+. With support of the Crane Hire division, operating one of the largest crawler crane fleets in Australia, and providing engineered turnkey solutions to meet heavy transportation & lifting needs of major projects.
The Role
About the role
The Specialised Transport and Lifting team, based in Perth, Western Australia, is offering a Full-Time position at our Naval Base -based operations. You will carry out operational tasks of our heavy haulage platform trailers and associated equipment, across Australia. At times this will include FIFO operations for certain projects with additional payments when working away and staying in truck or site accommodation.
The successful candidate will be involved in the exclusive industry of Specialised Transport and Lifting, learning alternative means to lift and shift items that most would not think possible to relocate.
We are seeking an active, self-motivated Multiple Combination Driver with a mechanical mindset.

Duties
- Assist experienced personnel with assembly and operationally related scopes of work regarding platform trailers.
- Assist with preventative, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on all associated equipment.
- Present daily checklist, fatigue management, maintenance, and fault reports to line management.

Skills & experience
- MC driver’s licence, with heavy haulage experience
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Punctual, reliable, fit and able to work unsupervised
- English literacy skills
