Based in our Engineering Team at Pipe Road, we're looking for team-oriented Welders as part of our MHF Manufacturing Site.

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding piping and pressure vessel components used in various chemical services across the site and leading the replacement of assets nearing their design life at the 2,4D plant. You will support our continuous improvement culture and play a pivotal role in several projects and initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities 
Safely execute welding operations on piping and pressure vessels to fabricate and repair components. 
Weld and fabricate piping spools, pressure vessel internals, and other metal components for recent installations 
Perform weld repairs inside pressure vessels via confined space entry 
Ensure that required work has appropriate Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and Management of Change (MOC) done before performing tasks related to it. 
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workshops as per 5S requirements. 
Continuously build technical capability within the welding discipline. 
Be available for callouts as per the callout schedule and roster. 
Keep the supervisor informed of all issues and needs arising in the execution of day-to-day activities. 
Assist in planning and scoping future work as requested and included in the daily schedule. 
Communicate with storeroom personnel to update on gaps, low inventories, and all aspects relating to welding consumables, tools and equipment. 
Maintain records as required including printing Work Orders, assigning parts, recording history, raising supplementary work orders, and closing out work orders in MEX. 
Qualifications 
You're an experienced boiler maker/welder with extensive experience working across chemical (MHF) manufacturing sites. You will have experience within piping, pressure vessels and welding fabrication across carbon/stainless steels, Nickel, Tungsten and Hastelloy.
