About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our vibrant Out of School Hours Care team at Bright Beginnings OSHC in Kalgoorlie, WA. This is a casual position, providing care and educational activities to children before and after school, as well as during school holidays. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the holistic development of each child in our care.
What you'll be doing
* Providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 4-12 years
* Planning and delivering educational and recreational activities aligned with the National Quality Framework
* Observing and documenting children's progress and development
* Communicating effectively with parents/guardians about children's experiences and needs
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of the service
What we're looking for
* A relevant certificate III, diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent, or willing to obtain
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Commitment to providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children
* Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates or willing to obtain
* Valid Working with Children Check
