In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested and continues to invest in substantial new logistic hub facilities that will support our global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facility.
We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to join the International Logistics team at our Broadmeadows site. You will assist management in the daily operations related to shipping, receiving and storage activities for all CSL Behring manufacturing sites globally, coordinate transportation to meet financial targets, create export shipping documentation, and manage the export declaration process.
This is a fixed term opportunity until the end of February 2027.
The Role
Reporting to the International Logistics Operation Lead, you will perform the following tasks.
* Delivery Processing: select relevant orders for delivery, create outbound delivery, and provide relevant batch, billing and shipping documentation.
* Stock Transfer Buyer: perform stock transfer responsibilities, including determining order types, ensuring correct information is associated with the order, and verifying pricing, import, and delivery and shipping information.
* Export Order Management: manage export order process, including creating export orders by type, determining order reason codes, and processing orders by fulfilling, blocking, or rejecting them.
* Transportation Management: coordinate transportation and shipment of materials, including creating or maintaining freight forwarder relationships.
* Reporting: contribute to monthly reports and finance forecasts.
* Training Development and Delivery: provide training for new team members and trainees on order management processes at different manufacturing sites.
Skills & Experience
* 2+ years of experience within logistics or supply chain preferred.
* Experience working in and knowledge of various aspects of warehousing, distribution, inventory control, export and transportation preferred.
* Ability to work independently and on a compressed time schedule.
* Demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills required.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word.
