Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About the Role

Your scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level domains like biochemistry and chemical engineering.

What You'll Do
* Design challenging, rigorous chemistry problems to test and benchmark AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
* Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with logically sound reasoning that can be used to evaluate AI outputs
* Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and overall quality
* Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
* Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve AI model behavior over time
Who You Are
* Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
* Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writingDetail‐oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently
* No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed
Nice to Have
* Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
* Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
* Background in multiple chemistry subdisciplines
