We are seeking a Senior Associate to drive project leadership, manage key client relationships, and lead multidisciplinary coordination across large‐scale living projects including residential towers, mixed‐use living precincts, build‐to‐rent, student accommodation, aged care developments, and more.

This role is based in Melbourne, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‐performance, efficient and sustainable outcomes across some of the city's most prominent living‐sector projects, while guiding teams and clients through the full project lifecycle.

What is your role?

As a Senior Associate Project Lead | Living, you will take the lead in delivering complex, multidisciplinary living‐sector projects from inception to completion. You will manage key residential client portfolios, build trusted relationships with developers, architects and stakeholders, and ensure exceptional outcomes across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Your role will involve overseeing the design and coordination of MEP engineering services, civil, structural and specialist services, across residential and living assets, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines while meeting Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and client, operator and end‐user requirements.

You will also provide strong project leadership through planning, resourcing, stakeholder engagement and technical oversight. In addition, you will act as a mentor and senior leader, fostering collaboration, capability growth and a culture of technical excellence within the living sector team.

About You

* Educational Background: A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, however other MEP Engineering disciplines will be considered as well.
* Experience: 10+ years in building services engineering, with strong experience delivering $250,000+ engineering fee residential and living‐sector projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. Construction experience will be highly regarded.
* Technical Skills: In‐depth understanding of MEP design and delivery within commercial and retail environments, project management methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
* Attributes: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, strong commercial acumen, a client‐focused mindset, and a proactive, collaborative approach to managing people and projects.
